When not writing and recording music, Guy spends the balance of his creative time working on visual art. His latest body of work is a series of mixed media collages that emerged from an experiment in destruction and resurrection. Much like solving a visual puzzle, they are the result of an iterative process that entails assembling and reassembling disparate fragments from prior work using various adhesives, gels, and other media. The formal elements of color, composition, and texture simultaneously lead to an intuitive completeness that, like an abstract landscape, takes the viewer to a contemplative, reflective, and rejuvenating space.
